The village women cooked the lunch using the hollowed base of the tree as their stove.
We were offered lunch but we are not risking eating village food due to almost certain microbes would cause us to be ill.
Even though the casaba (like a potato) and bean stew looked good, We didn't eat any, but we did have some sugar cane.
