Mid-way through the project we had to go to get water to make the concrete
The people use old cooking oil jerrycans to collect water.
We walked 3 kilometers to the water hole. It was NOT clean water. THis is the water they use daily for everything.
The walk back was unbelievably hard. I can't believe some of the girls
carried the 20 liter (5 gallon) jugs which weighed over 40 pounds on their heads.
